Monroe Orthodontic’s clinical staff members are certified by the Oregon State Board of Dentistry. And all staff members regularly attend continuing education courses to advance their skills, as well as keep current with their American Red Cross CPR certification.

Our Front Desk Team

The process of creating a beautiful smile doesn’t happen overnight and, in the meantime, ’life happens’. Know that Holly and Shanda are here to help make your journey a little easier. You can always count on being greeted with a friendly face and a spirit of helpfulness when you call on them.

 

Holly Sehorn
is our Financial Coordinator/ Office Manager. Holly is here to assist you with your insurance and financial questions and processes. She started working for Dr. Monroe while still at Aloha High School. Following college, she returned to run our front office operations. You can count on Holly’s professionalism, sincerity and her exceptional attention to detail in handling any of your inquiries.

 

 

Shanda Masterson
is our Scheduling Coordinator and is the person you will speak with most often regarding your appointment times and changes. Shanda started in 1997, just out of high school. Her role is unique in that she is trained and certified in all duties and is often called upon to step into any role that is needed, whether at the front desk or in the clinic. Talk about versatile!

 

 

Our Clinical Team

Over the course of your treatment, you will interact a lot with our caring clinical team. They are the ones removing braces, taking impressions of your teeth for initial records and retainers, taking x-rays, changing arch wires, instructing you on good oral hygiene and much more.

 


Claudine Bowen

is a Clinical Assistant who has been working with Dr. Monroe for most of the doctor’s orthodontic career. Her youthful looks and enthusiasm certainly belie her years in the industry. Claudine shines with her professional attitude, top-notch skills and her daily pursuit of excellence.

 

Kelli DuBois

is a Clinical Assistant who works primarily in our Rainier Office with our Columbia County patients. Kelli attended PCC for her orthodontic assistant certification and is very proficient in all aspects of orthodontic treatment. Beware…Kelli’s sparkle and cheerfulness can easily rub off on you! 


Heather Rask

is a Clinical Assistant. She received her certification from PCC and has worked part-time and full-time for Dr. Monroe for over ten years. She is most often the lead assistant on the day you get your braces off. She is sure to make your “braces off event” both comfortable and super exciting! 

 

Janae Kivi

is our Sterilization Coordinator & Clinical Utility Assistant. She is our terrific new kid on the block having joined our team in 2008. She works “behind the scenes” and “in between” to sterilize all instruments and coordinate the clinical flow of our patients. 

 

Elizabeth McKenzie

is a Clinical Assistant who has been working with Dr. Monroe for over a decade. Her career began following her graduation from high school. Soon into her employment she began pursuing her assistant certification. Elizabeth is an outstanding C.A. and best known for her warmth, enthusiasm and her fun hair style of the week!
